
Jesús Bustamante, known artistically as Jesvs, is an Ecuadorian on-air personality and singer-songwriter based in Toronto, Canada. His skilled lyricism, catchy melodies, and adept guitar playing allow him to share his experiences with a global audience. By blending tropical rhythms, jazz, and traditional love ballads, Jesvs takes listeners on a journey of romance, hope, and vulnerability. All releases are composed and written by Bustamante himself and are produced by HAZYFACE PRODUCTION (Canada) and Altamar Sonido (Ecuador). They are published under BUSTAJ MUSIC AND MEDIA, his own media company.

Jesús Bustamante is born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Jesús displays his first glimpses of musical talent during a Mother's Day celebration. Surprising his family and even himself, he begins to sign as a hobby.

Jesús and his family move to Toronto, Canada in search of a better life. He begins singing in church choirs, and learning basic guitar techniques.

After finishing high school, Jesús decides to work towards an undergrad at the Schulich School of Business. He specializes in Marketing and Statistics.

Throughout the pandemic, Jesús begins working on various musical projects to keep himself sane, including starting a covers account titled @bustaj.covers.

Jesús moves to Lille, France to finish his last semester of business school. He starts busking to stay afloat financially. Sleeping on buses, crashing on friend's apartments, and doing whatever he needs to survive, he begins to find joy in the struggle through songwriting. He starts posting original compositions on his covers account. He rebrands to @bustaj.music.

Jesús returns to Canada determined to make the arts his livelihood. He starts partnering up with producers and live musicians, and releases his first single alongside HAZYFACE PRODUCTION. A Reggaeton track titled Tentándome.

Jesús assembles the band "Sonido GTA" alongside Luis Rodriguez. He begins to perform at live festivals and garner a reputation across the Greater Toronto Area.

After 9 singles, Jesús releases his first EP titled "Geranios II", which explores his childhood in Ecuador. He decides to rebrand from "bustaj" to "Jesvs".

Jesús' reputation as a musician continues to grow. He hosts and performs at TLN's Day of the Dead celebration, and leaves a lasting impression amongst media executives.

After ongoing negotiations with the company, Salsa in Toronto announces Jesús as the new festival ambassador. He tours across Canada with TLN Media Group and the Canadian Salsa Festivals Project as the official host of Salsa on St. Clair, Salsa Blue Mountain, and Salsa Tremblant.

Jesús' content creation skills and on-air charm provide him with interview opportunities with Latin entertainment's biggest stars. He goes on to cover the Latin Grammys, and host various influential events. He officially becomes the on-air host and producer for TLN and Univision Canada.

Jesús releases his biggest project to date, "En Un Cuartito En Lille" - a compilation of all the songs he wrote during his time in Europe. It explores feelings of vulnerability, restlessness, and determination. He continues to work on future releases, and grow as a host at TLN Media Group.
